Understanding SEPA Direct Debit
The SEPA direct debit is one of the most widely used methods of cashless payment in Europe. It allows companies to collect agreed-upon amounts directly from a bank account—provided, of course, that a valid SEPA direct debit mandate has been issued beforehand.
This standardized process ensures secure, reliable, and traceable payment processing and is used, among other things, for memberships, subscriptions, and recurring services.
A SEPA mandate can be revoked with the company with which you entered into the contract, but not with Pay & Collect.
Pay & Collect handles the technical processing of payments on behalf of companies. That is why our name may appear on your bank statement.
First, check the description of your debit transaction. If you still have questions, we'll be happy to help you find the right person to contact.
